The project was created as a submission to a design competition for LinusTechTips and Silverstone.

 

The brief was to create a headphone stand which is suitable for SilverStone to expand their headphone stand lineup with a wall mounted edition.

 

The design concept is suppose to hold one large over-the-ear headphone. A dive was made at the top to ensure the headphone is in place securely. A hook system was also included at the bottom of the heapdhone stand to allow the user to coil the cable to provide cable management during storage. The flexibility of this design is that with minor tweaks, the headphone stand would be able to change the position of the backplate to the base and the headphone stand would be suitable to be placed on a table.

 

The material of choice in the renders are anodized aluminium.
